Project Respect, Inc.

Nineteen (19) great students from YES Prep participated in Service Learning and Community Service at the Historic Evergreen Negro Cemetery on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. . The YES Prep Fifth Ward Titans and their teachers fulfilled the high standards of conduct and performance we have come to expect from YES participants in our Service Learning Program Activities. For a first visit to the Historic Evergreen Negro Cemetery the level of attention, conduct, discipline, and response to learning objectives could not have been higher. At the end of the morning before their departure several students requested information about opportunities to come help with the maintenance at the cemetery during their upcoming vacation from school.
