Restlawn-McMasters Cemetery Status - 9 June, 2009

This week and next we hope to complete the work we began last week at the Restlawn Cemetery on Wheatley Street and Ferguson. We have been out there every day this week as well as Wednesday and Thursday of last week. Today we found several burials that the person who owned and managed that cemetery never covered or closed! (Mr. Perry Seals is peering into the cavity of an open grave.)

Everyday that we have worked at the site, the Abundance Living management, Mr. Perry and Mrs.Wanda Seals, have provided a crew of more than twenty ex-offenders to work at the site. Today, we had three tractors, tree removal equipment, chainsaws, and the manpower to get the work done! We are making a huge impact and I hope nothing will disrupt the momentum.
